- Creating an account or registering for our services
- Visiting our websites and interacting with tools, uploads, or destination features
- Engaging in our managed Discord server
- Submitting inquiries or communicating with our support or sales team
- Interacting with marketing emails, newsletters, or campaigns

- When you register: names, email addresses, phone numbers, and login credentials (including if using a third-party service like Google)

- Receiving competition prizes: billing and payment information, such as bank account details or Stripe accounts

Parental consent required
Users under 18 may only use the services with parental consent. Before a minor can use the services, we send a consent email to the parent. The parent must affirmatively consent before the account is activated.
For California users ages 13–15: both parent and minor must opt in to data collection.

You may have the right to:

- Opt out of marketing emails by following the unsubscribe link in our communications
California minors under 18: you have the right to request removal of content you posted publicly ("Eraser Law" — Business & Professions Code § 22581). Email support@nexusgames.com with "California Eraser Request" in the subject line.
Colorado, Connecticut, and Virginia residents: residents of these states have similar rights to access, delete, correct, and opt out of certain data processing activities. To exercise your rights, please contact us at support@nexusgames.com.

Nexus Games uses cookies, pixels, and similar technologies for analytics and advertising purposes. You can control or disable these tools in several ways:

Note: opt-out preferences may need to be set separately for each browser or device. For minor users: we do not use cookies for behavioral advertising.

We implement appropriate safeguards to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no method of data transmission or storage can be guaranteed 100% secure.
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide our services or as required by applicable laws and our internal data retention policies. Backup copies may persist temporarily as part of our security protocols. We expedite deletion for minor accounts upon parental request.
9. Age Verification
We collect date of birth during registration. Users who indicate they are:
- Under 13: cannot create accounts (our services are for ages 13+)
- 13–17: require parental consent
- 18+: can create accounts without parental consent
If we discover a user under 13 has created an account without proper consent, we will delete the account and information.
10. Children Under 13 (COPPA)
Our services are not intended for children under 13. If we become aware we have collected information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete it.

Our websites may include links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those external sites. Please review their privacy policies before interacting with them.
12. International Use: UK & EEA
Nexus Games is designed for users in the United States. We do not market our services to residents of the UK, European Economic Area (EEA), or other jurisdictions with data protection laws similar to the GDPR. We do not intentionally collect data from users in these locations and have not adopted GDPR-compliant data handling practices. If you access our services from outside the U.S., you do so at your own risk and are responsible for compliance with your local laws.
13. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post the updated version on our website with a new effective date. For minor users: we will notify parents by email at least 30 days before material changes take effect. Parents may withdraw consent if they disagree with changes.
