War Of The Ring Collector's Edition "Gift Set" unveiled

In addition to the game, everyone purchasing the WotR Collector's Edition will receive a small box with two more figures

Dear WOTR fans,

In december, we promised that we would add a "small gift" to the War of the Ring Collector's Edition, as an apology for the delay.

Together with each copy of the Collector's Edition, we will ship a small additional box (which will fit inside the carton packaging the main game).

This small, jewelry-like box, embossed with a gold printing of the elvish logo of the Collector's Edition, will include two additional figures.

One of the figures is Aragorn in Strider's clothes.

The other figures is Gandalf featured as "The White".

It was not possible in a month's time to have new sculptures done and produced, so these two figures are repaint of the Aragorn and Gandalf figures included in the game.

Nonetheless, many people complained about the lack of a proper way to represent the two different versions of these characters on the game board, and we thought this would be the nicest present that we could give to our customers, without adding additional delay to a project which was already very complex to deal with.

We hope that this little enhancement to the War of the Ring Collector's Edition will be appreciated as a small token of our gratitude for bearing with us during the long wait for the arrival of the game.
