THE COSSACKS ARE COMING!
The Russian Revolution set and Russian WW2 Infantry ("Red Army") enter the Nexus catalog of Atlantic reissues in late june.

These two sets are ranked among the most interesting in the old Atlantic range.

The "Revolution" series originally included 4 sets, featuring Mussolini ("March on Rome"), Hitler (and his "Brown Shirts"), Mao Zedong (Chinese Revolution) and Lenin-Stalin ("Russian Revolution").

"Russian Revolution" is currently the only existing mould from this series, and it is considered very interesting as the pieces included can be used in several early XX century settings, such as Russian-Japanese war or WW I.
Apart from Lenin and Stalin, the set included a single sprue with a mounted cossack, infantrymen with various kind of guns (including a machine gun and a mortar), a 5 part cannon, and a 3 part sled (without any apparent locomotion power, but the cossack's horse can be used). Nexus box includes 3 of these sprues, for a total of 54 parts.

Russian WW2 Infantry is another interesting addition to Nexus catalog of Atlantic reprints, as this fundamental army has been the subject of a very small number of miniature figure sets.

The original Atlantic "World War 2" series included several armies, including all the most important ones from the period. The "Red Army" set is the only available mould at the moment.

The pieces included make up a sizable army, with 48 infantrymen with rifles and other personal weapons in several poses and 3 heavy machine guns in 6 parts each, for a total of 66 pieces.

The covers of the Nexus reissues of these sets will feature photographs from the relevant time period. The back of each box includes historical information and an image of the original Atlantic box.

Check the Image Catalog page for the full colour images of the boxes and sprues for these new sets, and the Catalog page for the essential information.
