NEW ATLANTIC REISSUES
A new millennium, new additions to our Atlantic range! Some of the finest pieces from the Western series, the Apache Camp and Cowboys, are reissued in spring 2001, and more are coming in the next months!
Our 15th release is "Apache Camp", a set from Atlantic's "History of the West" (Storia del West). Like most native american tribes, the Apache were nomadic hunters, who roamed across Arizona, Colorado and New Mexico. There camps were very easy to set up and dismantle.
This wonderful kit includes enough pieces to build a complete camp with teepees, totem poles, and several native americans, both warriors and civilians.
The cover artwork is a painting by an anonymous 19th Century artist.
The 16th set is "Cowboys", a set from Atlantic's "History of the West" (Storia del West). Explorers saw the vast prairies of the American West as an ideal territory for cattle farms, and cowboys were employed to gather the herds, brand cattle, break wild horses and look after the animals. The Cowboy became an archetipal hero of the western saga, is pictured in this kit in a high realistic way, with mounted figures and figures on foot, with lasso, irons and guns, complemented with cattle pictured in various poses.
The cover artwork is a painting by famed artist Charles M. Russell.
See also our Catalog and Image Catalog sections for more details on these sets, and our Vendor page for the reseller closest to you. Both sets are available now.
