NEW ATLANTIC REISSUES
The Atlantic range is expanded in march with two new sets, which bring the total of reissued Nexus/Atlantic figure kits to 14.
Our 13th release is "Stampede", a set from Atlantic's "History of the West" (Storia del West). The set feature cowboys which face and try to harness a fearsome stampede of maddened cows. It includes, as well as a good number of cows to re-create the furious cattle, 12 brave cowboys on their horses and 4 cowboys on foot. This is one of two sets featuring the legendary life of cowboys; the other set, "Cowboys", will be released in a few months.
The cover artwork is a painting by famed western artist Frederic Remington.
The 14th set is "Ancient Life", our name for Atlantic's "La Vita in Grecia". This set comes from the late Atlantic's Ancient series (4 sets from this range have been already reprinted) and is the only one available in the market to feature ancient non-military figures. While the set was originally meant to represent Classical Greece civilians, it can be used as well for ancient Romans and many other populations from the classical period.
The set includes handsome palace guards (the only military figures), but also common men and women, priests, sacrificial altars, several 'triclinium' (beds), and are an ideal complement to a diorama of ancient buildings and temples.
See also our Catalog and Image Catalog sections for more details on these sets, and our Vendor page for the reseller closest to you. Both sets will be available before the end of march.
